Discover the hidden history of Tomoka State Park on a guided walk through the park’s archaeological middens. Learn what middens are and what they reveal about past inhabitants.

Meet at: Tomoka State Park South Picnic Area
Directions: Enter through the main gate, pass the Ranger Station, return to Beach St., head north 0.2 miles, and turn left just before the bridge at the Tomoka State Park South Picnic Area sign.

What to Bring: Water, sunscreen, insect repellent, and sturdy shoes (uneven terrain expected).

Cost: $5 park entry per vehicle. Buy a day pass online or visit the Ranger Station before heading to the South Area. TICKETED EVENT: Limited to 21 attendees.
